City Cast is a network of one-of-a-kind daily local news podcasts that launched in Denver and Chicago in 2021. I had the opportunity to work with Denver’s intrepid crew this summer when one of their team members was out on leave, and during that time, I transformed 24 episodes from raw interview audio to final mix, often on a tight deadline.
When I wasn’t working with audio and shaping the next day’s show, I was staying one step ahead of the news cycle, pitching stories, conducting pre-interviews, and booking guests.
